HOW TO GET HERE

Out of the Rat Race and Down to the Beach

 

The location of DIE WINDMEUL is remote yet an easy drive along gravel roads that sometimes take a while and at others are a quick run to Oyster Bay.

Directions to DIE WINDMEUL

From Port Elizabeth


From Port Elizabeth take the N2 to Humansdorp. Take the exit Humandorp/St. Francis/Oyster Bay. After entering Humansdorp, at the first stop street, go straight into the main street of Humandorp. At the end of the main street turn left to St Fracis Bay and stay on that road for 21km. Follow the signs to Oyster Bay (Please note that the tarred road will become a dirt road). After approximately 23 kilometres turn left into Oyster Bay and follow the road until you drive into the small town, DIE WINDMEUL is the first building on the left as you arrive once you have past the town hall on your right.

 

From Cape Town


Coming from Cape Town on the N2 turn off at exit 632 Palmietvlei and follow the signs to Oyster Bay for 28 kilometres (Please note that the tarred road will become a dirt road).Turn left into Oyster Bay and follow the road until you drive into the small town, DIE WINDMEUL is the first building on the left as you arrive once you have past the town hall on your right.

 

From Cape St Fransis and St Fransis Bay

 

Head out along the road to Humansdorp and Jeffreys Bay and take the Oyster Bay turnoff before the Krom river. After approximately 21 kilometres turn left into Oyster Bay and follow the road until you drive into the small town, DIE WINDMEUL is the first building on the left as you arrive once past the town hall on your left.
